The Balluff BES013A is a high-precision inductive proximity sensor designed for reliable object detection in metal areas. With a cylindrical miniature version, this sensor features a stainless steel housing, a PBT sensing surface, and a connector for M5x0.5 male installation. It operates within a voltage range of 10 to 30 VDC and can withstand ambient temperatures from -25 to 70°C. The BES013A is also equipped with a PNP normally open (NO) switching output and boasts a high switching frequency of 3000 Hz, ensuring rapid response times for industrial applications.
